As if menopause doesn't imply several annoying and frustrating side effects that women must endure already while it's happening, there seem to be more and more cases of Tinnitus and menopause in women over 50 and you are probably wondering if this is what is causing the buzzing ears and how you can make it stop.

Changing your diet is another result of Tinnitus and many women going through menopause typically begin eating a bit healthier which will encourage the sounds to begin to decrease.
By eating better during those menopause months or years, you can lower your blood pressure and you ringing in the ears substantially.
Combine that healthier way of eating with exercise and you are on a path to success.
Stress is another big issue for women that are in menopause as mood swings and losing a bit of their patience can often be experienced.
When you have a high amount of stress in your life you double your chances of developing tinnitus and for an older woman that fits the mold of a perfect candidate for the ailment, in the first place many women should put forth their best effort to lower their stress.
Try relaxing more often than usual, and don't take on too many activities at once.
Many women in this stage in their lives are grandmothers and they tend to try to balance working, their home life and spending as much time as possible with their grandchildren which can be somewhat impossible.
This is a time in their lives when they should be relaxing and enjoying the simple things in life.
Less stress, better sleep, healthier diet and regular exercise can all aide in preventing your Tinnitus from continuing to frustrate you during the day.
Your doctor may have some other suggestions should you make these simple changes and the symptoms still occur.
