Are Republicans Getting Worse?

It appears that hardly a day passes when the U.
S.
Republicans get no more bad news.
At the start of this week, Bush's stressed Attorney General had undergone through deep Congressional pressure, and thus, he resigned after sometime.
Immediately after that, Karl Rove left White House.
This news left President Bush helpless.
Meanwhile, the U.
S.
credit crunch appears to have worsened.
The declaration that average home prices have gone down by the biggest amount in half a century intensified the economic gloom.
Stock prices went down, and the TV experts said that a recession was about to happen.
Polls imply that Americans have become more negative about the country's economy during the Bush's government.
This is mainly a troubling warning for President Bush.
15 years ago, when George Bush ran for re-election, the country's economy was gaining momentum, and was recovering rapidly from a recession.
But, it was not obvious to common citizens yet, and he lost on Election Day.
A dream of "It's the economy stupid" is returning to disturb his descendant as the Republican applicant must be bothering Bush.
This time, the Republican candidates are turning to their base.
The supporters support the Republicans not for economic capability, but for party's family values.
But, it barely helped when everybody came to know that a Republican was detained in a men's room for requesting what can be called 'a very intimate conversation'.
It does not seem to be incompetence that is driving these Republicans.
They seem to do everything without an open eye on the polls.
