Cameroon is the country that is located in the region of West Africa. Cameroon is called as the miniature form of Africa as it is almost as large as Africa. The history of the country dated back to the year of 1472. The climate of the Cameroon varies from region to region. Along the coast the climate of the area is quite tropical and the climate is hot in the North area. During summers the country has got lots of rains.

The best climate for visiting the Cameroon is from November to February. This is considered a good time because in this time there is no harmattan. Harmattan is the wind that blows the sands from the Sahara deserts. The rainy season in the region is from May to November. Muslim holidays of Eid Milad UN Nabi, Eid ul Azha and Eid ul Fitr are celebrated in the country in respective months.

The northern area of Cameroon is largely accommodated by Muslims. The famous sect of the area is called as Fulani. Most of the Fulani are herders of cattle by trade. The south region of the Cameroon is highly populated with the Christian people. The independence day of the country is celebrated on 1st of January and it is being celebrated since 1960 and that is the national holiday for Cameroon. It has got the good oil reserves and good condition of agriculture so it has got good peak of economy.
