How to Troubleshoot Baxi Boilers
- 1). Check that the gas and electricity are turned on. If they aren't, check their connections and turn them on.
- 2). Look to see if the lights are lit up for the "Central Heating," "Burner On," and "Domestic Hot Water" indicators, signifying that these systems are on and working. If they are not, continue to Step 3.
- 3). Find out if the "Central Heating System" pressure needle is between the 1 and 2.5 mark. If it is not, you need to repressurize the system.
- 4). Check the display for any error code on the screen. If there is one, turn the "On/Off/Reset" selector switch to the reset point. If the boiler does not reset, continue to the next step.
- 5). Turn on the "Central Heating" timer if it is not already on. Then try turning the temperature setting to its maximum heat. If the boiler is still not working, you will need to call a professional.
