Ricky Gervais didn't pull any punches as the host of the 2010 Godlen Globes. Gervais poked fun at just about anyone he felt like, except for Mickey Rourke who he admitted to being afraid of. The show was slow, the camera work was a little bizarre, but Gervais did a fine job of moving things and keeping the energy level up when it was sagging.

Jason Reitman's third film, Up in the Air, went into the event with the most nominations, but it was Avatar that walked away from the evening with two key wins.

Jeff Bridges and Sandra Bullock also picked up some Oscar steam with their wins in the best dramatic actor and actress categories.
