New Horror/Suspense Releases in Theaters and on DVD: Week of November 25, 2012
This week, The Collection gets a theatrical release, while home video releases are headed by The Apparition, The Day and Rites of Spring.
When Elena's friends take her to a secret party at an undisclosed location, she never imagined she would become the latest victim of The Collector, a psychopathic killer. The Collector kidnaps and transports her to an abandoned hotel he's transformed into his own private maze of torture and death. Upon learning of his daughter's disappearance, Elena's wealthy father hires a group of mercenaries to retrieve her from the vicious grips of The Collector. These mercenaries coerce Arkin, the only man to have escaped the wrath of this heinous monster, to lead them through the gruesome labyrinth.

The horrifying apparition feeds on their fear and torments them no matter where they try to run. As war ravages humanity, destroying civilization and most of life on earth, a group of five survivors realize they must do whatever it takes to stay alive. Lost, starving, and exhausted, they seek shelter in a seemingly safe abandoned farmhouse. However, while searching for food and resources, they unwittingly set off a trap signaling to their ruthless predators lying in wait to begin their deadly attack. With food and ammunition dwindling, the group must make a desperate final stand over a 24 hour period battling for their ultimate survival.
