Planning dinner seven nights a week for your family can be a daunting task.
 Planning menus on a tight budget can be even harder.
 Today families are trying to save every dime that they can.
  We've come up with some recipes that cost less than a movie! Try some of these recipes to help you save money when planning your menu this week.
Good Ol' Sketty Without The Sauce  If you're like me, you get sick of the same old, same old.
 So to liven this old fashioned and boring dinner up, I came up with a family favorite that costs a total of $1.

1 pound of cooked spaghetti - $0.

19 1 cup of shredded cheese - I use cheddar - $0.
74 Toss the butter in the hot spaghetti until melted, toss the cheese and presto, a new twist on a boring meal, at a cost you can afford.
 Toast some white bread and serve alongside the spaghetti for just $0.

Poor Man's Pot Roast Beef prices today are outrageously high and I live in a house full of meat lovers.
 I had to come up with a cheap alternative to Sunday roasts and this worked out great! Even my husband was surprised at how much he liked it! 1 pound of hamburger - $2.

69 Take your ground beef and add salt and pepper for taste.
 Form the beef into one large patty, making it thicker then it is round.
 Peel the potatoes and carrots.
 Place the meat inside of a large piece of foil, add the vegetables.
 Fold the foil over the top, tenting it just a bit.
 Place on a baking sheet and bake at 375 for one hour.
 Add bbq sauce to the top of the meat for the last ten minutes for an additional $0.

 The meat cooks in it' own juices making this more flavorful and more tender than a traditional hamburger.
 *Drain the juices before serving* Total meal cost for a family of four: $4.

Hot Dog Casserole Hot Dog Casserole has turned into my children's favorite meal when they have friends over.
 They beg me to make it for them.
 Not only is this meal simple to make, it is also cheap! 1 package of hotdogs - $0.

02 Slice the hotdogs into round pieces.
 Dice the potatoes.
 Mix the soup, mustard, potatoes and hotdogs together.
 Add ½ cup of water and mix again.
 Pour into a baking dish and bake at 325 for 45 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.
 For an additional $0.
49, add a can of French style green beans for more flavor.
 Feeds six for $1.
