Homemade Dog Biscuits for Bad Breath
- 1). Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Grease the cookie sheet with cooking spray.
- 2). Combine 2 cups whole-wheat flour and 1 tbsp. activated charcoal into a mixing bowl. You can buy activated charcoal at most health food and pet stores.
- 3). Stir in 1 egg and 3 tbsp. vegetable or canola oil. Add 2/3 cup milk and stir the ingredients thoroughly with a spoon.
- 4). Stir ½ cup chopped mint and ½ cup freshly chopped parsley into the mixture.
- 5). Put tablespoon-sized drops of the dough onto the cookie sheet. Place each drop about one inch apart.
- 6). Place the cookie sheet in the oven and bake the dough for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the biscuits turn golden brown.
- 7). Remove the biscuits from the oven and allow them to cool completely before giving them to your dog. Refrigerate the biscuits in an air-tight container.
