  Sint-Truiden is the principal town located in the Haspengouw region of Belgium. Known locally as the Fruit Town of Flanders due to its extensive fruit-growing area, the town is home to Grote Markt, Belgium's second largest market, and magnificent Baroque architecture such as the gabled Town Hall, and the Abbey of Sint-Truiden, founded in 657 A.D.
