How to Turn Your Irritation Into Gold

We're all irritated sometimes. At least, I am. (I have a real talent for it.)

Feeling irritated can be quite, well, irritating. It pisses you off and drains your energy.

But€¦.it can also be a goldmine. Feeling irritated, mad or unhappy can be the starting point of something very, very good.

Here's how to turn your irritation into gold:

First, determine the biggest source of irritation in your business you experience right now.

What is it that bugs you most? The hours you work? The people you work with?

If you could change ONE thing your business right now, what would it be?

(Oh, and answer this question even if you've already eliminated most sources of irritation from your business. There's always room for improvement, no matter how happy you already are.)

Take a good look at what's bothering you.

What is it you miss? What are you mad about? And how does this make you FEEL?

We're usually quite clear on our irritations.

But we either keep thinking or talking about them, OR ignore them hoping they will magically disappear.

Both strategies don't work - they actually make it worse.

Sure, we all need to vent from time to time. But if that's all you do, nothing will change. The more you focus on your problem, the bigger it will get. And ignoring something doesn't usually solve it.

What DOES work is to totally change your perspective.

Most people look at their irritation as a problem that needs fixing, or something they just have to (learn to) endure.

But what if your biggest irritation:

Is the key to positive change and growth?
Is the doorway to grow your business to the next level?
Is your personal invitation to step into your power more fully?
Is the answer to your prayers?
Is showing you the way to step into your purpose, passion and power more fully?
Shows you the easiest way to take a quantum leap in your business?
The best changes I've made in my business and life started with me feeling irritated, pissed off, or unhappy.

I found my purpose because all of my jobs felt so incredibly empty and meaningless, that it sucked the life right out of me.

I turned my purpose into a business because I just can't be happy in a job - being an employee totally suffocates me.

I now created a business that totally serves me, after I felt like my business was running me for quite a long time.

And in the past 11 years, I've noticed that the same thing is true for my clients.

Some of the biggest leaps and breakthroughs started with them feeling irritated and unhappy.

When you look at it this way, your irritation might be the best thing that's happening for you right now!

This week's transformational action:

What is your irritation telling you? What does it invite you do to do, learn, change or step into?

Open your mind and sit with these questions. The answers will come sooner or later.

You don't have to act upon the answers right away. You can if you feel like it, of course.

But for now, it's more important to focus on the opportunities your annoyance can open up for you.

Once you start feeling excited about the great things that could unfold for you, you will want to take action.

So tell me, What gold might be hidden in your current irritation?
