How to Restore a Backup PST File
- 1). Insert the media on which your PST backups are stored, such a flash drive or burnable disc.
- 2). Start Outlook Express and then click on "File," followed by "Import and Export."
- 3). Select "Import from another program or file," click "Next," and then select "Personal Folder File (.pst)" followed by another "Next."
- 4). Navigate to your PST file by first clicking on the navigation bar and then selecting "(My) Computer." Select the media on which your file is located and then select the PST file itself. Click "Next."
- 5). Choose which folder you wish to restore, such as "Outbox" or "Inbox." Click "Finish" to restore your emails and drafts.
