Have all those chronic sinusitis treatments left you feeling worse than ever? Do you feel doomed to staying on antibiotics and decongestants for the rest of your life? Yes, those drugs gave you temporary relief, but you don't want to stay on them forever.
As your sinusitis problems get worse, you finally wind up taking a cortisone type drug which again gives you temporary relief as long as you're taking it.
However, it has its own set of side effects and long term significantly disrupts the harmony in your body and in your sinuses.
Since these chronic sinusitis treatments keep you in a downward vicious cycle, why not look for a way out of this mess? Have you ever considered restoring your sinuses and the rest of your body to a state of harmony and balance? The combination of poor eating habits, antibiotics and cortisone favors the growth of unfriendly organisms in our sinuses and the rest of the body, especially of the yeast candida, fungi and problematic bacteria.
Poor food choices create an internal environment that changes our normal helpful bacteria (good bacteria) into harmful bacteria.
These harmful bacteria excrete waste products into our tissues and blood stream adding to the toxic soup in our bodies and overload our bowel, liver and kidneys.
Harmful bacteria love that junk food you eat.
They grow so well until they take over.
In addition, continual consumption of sugar and other sweets feeds the normal yeast and fungi in our bowels turning them into more aggressive yeast and fungi that invade our tissues and excrete waste that is toxic to us.
I tell kids, "Those germs are pooping and peeing inside of you and making you sick.
But you can be smarter than those little buggers.
You can choose to eat in a way that starves them to death.
" They get it and change their ways! And so if you have been through the standard chronic sinusitis treatment, you may have an overgrowth of Candida (yeast).
Most doctors don't "believe it exists", but it does.
You need to read about it.
There are several good books - just do a search for information about Candida.
So it you're serious about getting rid of yeast you have to clean up your diet.
Limit carbohydrates and eliminate sweets.
Get rid of these yeast inducing factors: antibiotics, cortisone, and birth control pills with your doctor's assistance.
Detoxify heavy metals and toxic chemicals.
So dealing with yeast means getting balance back into the body.
If you really want to get rid of sinus problems, don't add another layer of medications to kill yeast if you can possibly avoid it.
That can just make more resistant organisms in your body.
Be sure to get the sweets out of your diet and eat mainly various animal proteins, vegetables and whole grains initially.
Later you can add in the fruits and nuts.
A really healthy diet low in carbohydrates becomes your most effective tool to regain harmony in the body and get those yeast back into their proper role.
Take a good probiotic (friendly organisms) too.
Initially you may need to take a natural remedy that helps suppress the yeast like caprylic acid, or a combination of yeast fighters readily available in the health food store.
Some folks may even need a prescription antifungal like nystatin, Diflucan, or Nizoral.
But beware.
The antifungals can act just like antibiotics and promote more imbalances in your sinuses and create organisms that are even tougher to get rid of.
Take antifungals no more than 3-4 weeks.
Healthy balance in your tissues encourages the growth of friendly organisms which antagonize the unfriendlies and helps kick them out.
If after maintaining a healthy diet and taking antifungals (always just an option, hopefully you won't have to take them) and your sinusitis continues, then consider the possibility that you have accumulated toxic metals and chemicals in your tissues.
It's almost impossible to get rid of the unfriendly guys when your tissues are a toxic waste dump.
Look into detoxifying your tissues.
Helpful supplements that aid detoxification include chlorella, MSM and others.
You may need a chelating agent that grabs the toxic metals from the tissues and dumps them out through the urine and bowel.
Be assured you do have hope for clearing your chronic sinusitis if you follow a health-promoting chronic sinusitis treatment program.
