Powerful things happen when a person trusts God with their finances.
On the same note, detrimental things happen when a person does not trust God with their finances.
So the important thing to determine is: What does it mean to trust God with my finances? There are two main parts to that idea: "trusting," and "God.
" To "trust" means to be confident that the person you've given authority to will do what is expected of them.
When you trust God in your finances, it simply means that you know for sure that God will do his part in making you prosperous.
In other words, if something bad happens, it wasn't God! But when something good happens, it was God.
Remember, "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights" (James 1:17 KJV).
Yes, it is God's will that you prosper financially.
Of course, everyone will "prosper" in a slightly different way since we all have varying needs and wants, but everyone who trusts God will prosper.
Period.
The second part of that thought is "God.
" Who you trust makes all the difference.
When God makes a promise, He means it.
"For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ" (2 Corinthians 1:20 NIV).
So God is definitely trustworthy.
You can trust him with every penny you have.
Trusting God with your finances not only causes you to prosper, but it also allows you to relax and receive God's blessings.
God is a good father, and He loves you!
