    • 1). Connect the power cord firmly in the PotScrubber dishwasher as well as a working power outlet if the dishwasher is not operating. Replace or reset the circuit breaker or fuse as necessary.

    • 2). Lift up the air gap on the nearby sink if the dishwasher is not draining well, and clean the hoses inside. Reconnect the hoses and close the air gap lid. Run water and start the garbage disposal, if there is one installed. Reach behind the dishwasher and straighten the drain hose.

    • 3). Run the water at the nearest sink until it is hot before using the dishwasher if dishes and utensils do not seem clean enough after washing. Increase the amount of detergent used, and avoid overloading the dish racks.

    • 4). Position each dish and utensil securely in the dishwasher if there is a rattling or strange noise during the wash cycle. Leave space between each item and inspect the bottom of the tub for any items that may have dropped. Disconnect the power to the dishwasher and check the food grinder on the bottom of the unit for any large food items or utensils that may be trapped.

    • 5). Wipe up excess rinse aid from the dispenser area with a clean cloth, and use the recommended amount of automatic detergent for each load if there is excess sudsing. Prop the dishwasher door open to allow some of the soap to dissipate and then run a drain cycle after adding approximately 1 gallon of clean, cold water to the tub.
