How To Make More Money
Do you need more money? Jobs are hard to find. Maybe you already have a job, but it would be next to impossible to work another one in. Kids, school, ball practice, bowling night-LIFE, if you want one, it makes getting out and working two jobs next to impossible.
There is an alternative. Go into business for yourself.
About now you are saying, "Whoa!"
Think about it. Maybe you've got a garage or attic full of "good stuff" you never use, but you couldn't get its worth out of a yard sale? Maybe you do have a few extra hours a week and you know you can make something that "just ought to sell," but you've got no way to market it? Or, maybe you've looked online at all the companies that could put you into a drop-ship business, but you think, "How would anyone find my site?"
The answer to that dilemma is very simple. Subscribe to an online classified ad service.
If you get a good one, it will only take about 10 minutes to learn how to put an ad together. Once you know how to write ads, you can market anything.
I know you are short on time (as well as money), but what do you do when you have a few free hours? Me, I get out my lap top and check to see if I made any sales and yes (!) I did, as usual. I check my Pay Pal account and yes (!) I got paid. I box up the sold items, address them, and get them ready for shipping.
Next, I'll get out a couple more things I wish to sell. Maybe, Barbie and her beach house need to find a new home. (I should mention one of my pastimes is hitting yard sales and auctions. I pick up a lot of good stuff for next to nothing, because someone didn't know how to really market it. Maybe some of that "good stuff" in your storage area is there because you like to take advantage of yard sale prices and later find you really didn't need what you bought? -- Selling some of it for a profit would be nice.)
I'll take a few pictures of the items I want to sell and up load them to my computer. Then I spend a (very) few minutes designing and posting a new ad or two. Once the ads are uploaded they go to work for me.
I put about 2 hours a day or 12 hours a week into this "job," unless you consider the amount of time I spend at garage sales and auctions-an activity I consider, (at least partially) entertainment. If you do count those hours, I spend roughly 20 hours a week doing this. I usually clear around $300.00 a week in sales. That comes out to about $15.00 hour. Not bad at all.
I just mentioned that I spend time at yard sales and auctions, but there are drop ship companies that offer every type of new and used product you can imagine. Using online classified ads, you can make drop shipping a profitable business, too.
Like most of you I work a full-time job. In addition, I make a nice amount of money by selling "good stuff" online. -And, I can always increase my income by posting more ads to sell more. It's not hard. It doesn't require a lot of time and I decide when to put in the "extra" hours, but I couldn't do it without online classified ads.
The online classified ad service I use charges me a very reasonable monthly fee. I can run as many ads as I wish and include up to 12 pictures per ad. People can send me messages, ask questions, etc. and the ads never expire until I take them down. This really works well for me.
I am a big fan of online classified ads.
