Festival de la Tirana
Visitors and tourists to Chile can join the religious celebrations dedicated to Carmen, the patron saint of Chile. The Festival de la Tirana is held in the small town of the same name, La Tirana. La Tirana is a small community in the mountains, yet 200,000 people make the journey there each year to join in the celebration.

Feast Day of San Sebastian
Held each year in the city of Yumbil, this festival is held to celebrate Saint Sebastian. It is a large festival that around 100,000 people usually attend.

Feast of the Virgin of 40 Hours
This is a large festival that attracts hundreds of thousands of tourists and locals. A feature of this festival is a grand procession that includes the brightly colored regalia of the local people.

Santiago a Mil
Chile's largest cultural celebration is Santiago a Mil or €Celebration of the Thousands€. It takes place in January and features street performers from around the world, Santiago a Mil is a great place to stop for people who have flights to Santiago, Chile.
