How to Barbecue Grouper
- 1). Combine 1/2 cup of melted butter, 1/2 cup vegetable oil, 2 tbsp. soy sauce, 1 tbsp. of Worcestershire sauce and 1 1/2 tbsp. of lemon juice in a bowl.
- 2). Place the grouper fillets into the marinade. Place the marinade and the fish into the refrigerator for two hours.
- 3). Remove the grouper fillets from the marinade and place them onto a plate. Pour the marinade into a sauce pot on the stove top and bring it to a boil for five minutes to kill any dangerous bacteria.
- 4). Scrub on the grill grates with a grilling brush to clean them. Brush the grates with vegetable oil to prevent the grouper from sticking.
- 5). Prepare your grill to a medium heat setting. Place the grouper fillets on the grill. Cook each side for four to five minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
