    Liquid Extract

    • 1). Rinse 8 ounces of dried olive leaves. Drain out all excess water.

    • 2). Place olive leaves in a Crock-Pot or other slow cooker. Add 1 gallon of distilled water.

    • 3). Turn on low heat -- ideally 175 to185 degrees Fahrenheit -- and let sit for 12 hours. Check every couple hours -- if your slow cooker exceeds 185 degrees Fahrenheit, shut off the power or remove the lid to release some heat.

    • 4). Pour through a strainer and collect the liquid extract in bottles or jars and store in refrigerator. Discard olive leaves.

    Extract Capsules

    • 1). Use a coffee grinder, food processor or mortar and pestle to grind your dried olive leaves.

    • 2). Add olive leaf extract powder at a 1-to-1 ratio to increase potency, if desired. Mix well.

    • 3). Fill the smaller side of the empty capsule with the extract using a small spoon or spatula. Pack it as much as you can until the extract is overflowing the small end of the capsule. Connect the capsule together and store in an airtight container.
