How to Remove a Norton Nag Screen
- 1). Go to the Symantec home page (see Resources below for link). Symantec is the company that produces and distributes all Norton-related products.
- 2). Click on the button that says "Norton" on the top of the main Symantec.com Web page.
- 3). Move your mouse over the button that says "Store" near the top of the page to reveal a drop-down menu. Click on the option that reads "Renewals."
- 4). Select the Norton product for which you currently have a trial version and the type of subscription you'd like to purchase. Norton products are available in one- and two-year subscription packages. When finished, select the "Checkout" button.
- 5). Pay for your Norton subscription. You will be asked to enter in your current address, your billing address and your credit or debit card information. Once the checkout is complete, you will be given a registered and active subscription number.
- 6). Input your subscription number into your Norton product. You can do this by opening the product and entering your subscription number into the Norton nag screen. By selecting the "OK" button, your product will recognize your subscription. The nag screen will stop appearing until your subscription is one month away from expiring.
