Elastin in Skin - How Can We Replenish Our Supply and Look Great Again?

103 15
It is a shocking fact that most consumers of skincare products think that elastin in skin CAN be replaced by applying a topical gel or cream.
This is not correct.
The second thing they are unaware of is that any elastin cream is usually sourced from animals or birds.
It seems incredible that some companies provide certification of the purity of their original elastin just in case that people might be worried that they might catch mad cow disease or avian flu! I would say that the chances of catching a disease like that through the use of a topical cream is practically nil but the most important thing to understand is that these products do not work and yet people are prepared to pay astronomical amounts to increase the elastin content of human skin.
Elastin in skin exists together with collagen and keratin and make up the protein package which forms connective tissue.
As elastin is mainly responsible for making our skin smooth and supple, you can see why its depletion over the years is going to show obvious signs of aging.
Instead of concentrating on elastin itself and trying to reproduce it naturally or get our skin to reproduce it, we should look more carefully at natural products which can actually keep our levels of HA at optimal levels.
This is the key to maintaining the elastin content of human skin.
We could choose to have hylauronic acid injections so that the binding action of water and the HA can actually produce the volume needed to resolve any problems of sagging skin and hollows which should not be there.
The problem is that this type of treatment lasts only a maximum of six months and therefore touch ups are needed at regular intervals afterwards.
But if we were to apply a natural product using a perfectly pure marine source we could maintain levels of HA and that in turn would keep the elastin in skin in great condition too.
This ingredient actually exists and it is derived from a Japanese kelp and then processed into a powdered form so that it can easily be used in skincare products.
It can stop the damaging enzyme known as hyaluronidase which tends to lower levels of HA.
This is what holds our elastin and collagen proteins together to keep skin smooth.
This ingredient has been shown to improve the elasticity of our skin as well.
No injections and no doubtful chemicals make this a very safe choice indeed.
As you can see, this is a revolutionary ingredient especially as it is a powerful antioxidant as well.
So, there you have it.
The amounts of elastin in skin can be increased but not by the obvious route which does not work anyway.
Why not click through and see some cutting edge skincare products which really do work and are entirely safe.
