Alert1 Medical Alert Review
A principal advantage is that Alert1 medical alert is able to use their expertise and integrate their solutions into user friendly consumer focused product.
The biggest difference in these two options is price.
Full time monitoring is a more expensive option, but it comes with the added security of knowing when you push your alert button someone will answer every time.
If you are relying on your family or friends to answer the phone in every situation you may be let down.
The good: Alert1 has good power life and good usage range, which you would expect from an industry leader.
The product has activity monitoring and fall protection as well as other additional added features.
The product doesn't have extended contracts, and automatic testing built in for the main unit and consoles.
Personal units include wrist and clip on devices.
Additionally they have pill distribution system for individuals who have to use multiple drugs.
The bad: The general month to month supervision rates are far higher than several other companies.
Even though supervision is 24/7 the customer service line has limited availability in during the day.
They do not have price breaks for longer contracts.
They do have a one month cancellation policy, but you will not get an equipment refund, installation or any already paid out costs.
The sales agents were also aggressive on the phone and do not provide correct details.
Our opinion: The product appears expensive, and you are spending a high price for the brand.
The sales people weren't really friendly, and appeared more concerned in closing the sale than giving good advice.
If you don't require all the extras you will be able to find a corresponding system for a considerably lower price.
