How to Make Infused Oils in a Crock-Pot
- 1). Pour 2/3 ounce of the herb of your choice into the Crock-Pot, and add 2 ounces of high-quality vegetable or olive oil. Stir well.
- 2). Dial the Crock-Pot to the lowest setting and let the oil and herb mixture simmer for two to three hours. Stir every 15 or 20 minutes.
- 3). Allow the mixture to cool, and strain the oil through unbleached muslin or a sieve into a bowl. Transfer the infused oil into sanitized glass bottles or jars. Refrigerate immediately after each use and discard after four weeks.
