How to Make a Halloween Pom-Pom Pumpkin Patch

There are many stories regarding the association of the pumpkin with the Halloween.
It is based on an ancient Celtic custom brought to America by Irish immigrants.
All Hallows Eve on October 31 marked the end of the old Celtic calendar year.
On that night, hollowed-out turnips, beets, and rutabagas with a candle inside were placed on windowsills and porches to welcome home the spirits of deceased ancestors and ward off evil spirits and a restless soul called 'Stingy Jack.
' We are guiding here on how to draw a Halloween Pom-pom pumpkin patch.
This task is meant for anyone above 5 years of age.
Requirement: • 5 medium orange pom-poms • 10 ping pong ball • Black permanent marker • Painting brush • Blue and Green paint color • White craft glue • Scissors • Cardboard box • Cotton • Brown, dark green glaze or felt papers • Green yarn • Wooden Skewer Procedure to make Halloween pom-pom pumpkin patch: • Eyes: Take two ping-pong balls.
With a pen, draw a small circle for a pupil.
Form another slightly bigger circle around it.
• Coloring eyes: With a small brush, paint the colored part of the eye (the iris) a nice blue.
Use some lighter and darker shades reflecting from the pupil.
Paint the pupil black and just leave a little circle for a minimum trace of light.
• Coloring cardboard box: Take a cardboard box and apply white glue all over the board.
Paint the cotton in green color.
• Pumpkin rows: Apply two parallel lines of glue on the colored cardboard box.
Cut two thin strips of brown glaze paper and press them onto the glue.
• Making leaves: Form leaves from dark green glaze paper.
Apply glue on places where you want to place the leaves and press them on.
• Pom-poms: Paste the pom-poms at different places near the brown stripes.
• Vines: Wrap the green yarn around the skewer.
Pull the skewer out and stretch yarn out gently to make it longer.
Cut curled yarn into several pieces.
Glue the curled yarn to the rows near the pumpkins to form vines.
Tips: For younger children, use large pom-poms and larger eyes as they are easier to make and make the craft attractive.

Make sure children use scissors under adult supervision, else it may be dangerous for small children.
