Best Steak Restaurants in London
Juicy beef steak and crispy fried potatoes are an eternally popular meal in London yet it comes in many styles. Please steer clear of Aberdeen Angus Steak Houses as they are just for tourists and are a joke to most Londoners due to their regular exposes for bad hygiene standards. The steak restaurants here are considered the best steak restaurants in London even though they serve the meal in different styles.

The Black & Blue steakhouses may look different outside but they have "an interior design style created specifically to enhance the dining experience" I'm told. They believe in simply cooked food and consistency across all of their restaurants. Black & Blue serve English beef, dry-aged for a minimum of 28 days.

This is steak Argentine-style. Gaucho Piccadilly is the branch I've heard the most good reports about but I'm sure all of the restaurants are great. Gaucho Piccadilly has four floors including a wine boutique, bar on the ground floor and live entertainment on the top floor. It's a carnivore heaven.

Apparently, London once had many of these old oyster and chop houses and Hix tries to evoke that era with the best of the season's oysters and a variety of meats. Steak options include steaks on the bone such as Porterhouse and Hanger steak with baked bone marrow. It's a lovely venue with wood paneling, the original wooden flooring, and a marble and wooden oyster bar.
