How to Use Burdock Root
- 1). Crush your burdock, astralagus root, and ginger by grinding them with the pestle in your mortar.
- 2). Put your herbs in the large tea ball, and add the water to a saucepan over medium heat.
- 3). Hang the tea ball over the side of the pan so that the herbs steep in the water. Let the tea come to a boil.
- 4). Reduce the heat to low, and simmer the roots for 30 minutes.
- 5). Remove your tea ball and place it in a teacup. Pour the tea into the cup, over the tea ball. Let the roots soak for a few minutes.
- 6). Remove the tea ball from the teacup. Sweeten your tea with honey as desired. Enjoy!
