How to Crisp Up Lettuce
- 1). Separate lettuce leaves and wash them in cold water.
- 2). Fill a bowl with water and fill about half way with ice.
- 3). Place wilted lettuce leaves in the ice water and leave them there for three to four minutes.
- 4). Pat the leaves dry with a lint-free towel or paper towels. They should be crisp and ready to tear and serve.
