Video: Watch How to File a 1040EZ Tax Form
Video Transcript
We've been through the entire Form 1040EZ, except for the refund section where we have the section under "11B", the routing number and the account number for the refunds. And this is the same whether you're a single or a joint filer, so you would get a check from your bank, and determine your routing number and put that in the section under "routing number", and put in your account number under "account number", and then check the type of account it is, whether it's a checking or a savings account. Then, you can go down and sign your return, and if you're single you just sign under "Your signature", put the date and your occupation and a daytime phone number. If you're married filing jointly, then your spouse would sign under the "Spouse's Signature" and put their date and occupation as well. And that completes the Form 1040EZ.
