Disable Permanently

• 1). Right-click on the "McAfee" software icon in the system's tray on the computer desktop.
  
  
• 2). Select "Open SecurityCenter".
  
  
• 3). Click on the "My Security Center" tab.
  
  
• 4). Click where it says, "Click here if you want to disable My Security Center".
  
  

Disable Temporarily

• 1). Right-click on the "McAfee" icon in the system's tray to launch the McAfee SecurityCenter.
  
  
• 2). Select the "Advanced" tab and the "Configure" option.
  
  
• 3). Select "Files" in the toolbar.
  
  
• 4). Enter a date and time for the McAfee Security Center to turn on again, or let it turn back on when you restart the system.
