How To Start an EBay Business Series - Part 2

In my 15 years of experience with selling on eBay and training others to start their own eBay business, I have heard two questions come up the most and these questions are always after one of our 4 seminars or our 8 hour training programs.
One question is "I don't have any time," which my response to that one is that successful people do not have any more time than you do, they however, have learned to manage it better.
That first question is understandable especially coming from many of the hard working people I have come across, but what gets me is the second question that I hear all of the time from people who do not seem to want to break out of their vicious cycle, meaning these are people that haven't yet started an eBay business but have all of the tools to do so except ambition or the drive.
The second question is this, "I don't have anything to sell.
" Remember, this question is always brought up after our training programs.
If you read my last article, you will already know that our training is based on duplication; so there are no products you need to come up with in order to sell on eBay.
All you have to do is find out what is already selling and sell those.
Okay, with that off my chest, I want to focus the rest of this article on how to come up with your own products with little to no cost on your part so that you can actually start an eBay business without breaking the bank.
In order to come up with your own products you have to change the way you look at things in life.
What I mean is that everything you experience and everything you learn can be a product for sale.
The best selling product online (not just eBay) is information.
People buy information even though they can find it free online, we see it all the time.
So what you have to do is start to compile the information you know and/or have learned over your lifetime.
To get your mind thinking, here are some questions you can ask yourself: What hobbies am I involved in or have been involved in? What sports do I follow or have played? What businesses or industries have I been involved in? What kind of things am I good at and what have I helped others with? What do I enjoy doing? After you have started a list of ideas from those questions, now you think of how you want to structure your information (ie, top ten lists, how-to guide, video tutorial, step-by-step instruction manual, etc).
And then once you have the idea and you know how you want to structure it all you have to do now is produce it, meaning you write it out or record it.
But, and a huge but, you should always do your research on eBay first to see what people are buying.
For example, if you know how to build a picnic table and someone is selling an instruction book on how to build a picnic table on eBay successfully then you know which product to start working on first.
Whatever you decide to do, just do it.
Do not wait, do not put off this opportunity, the time is now, start an eBay business now!
