Accepting Online Sportsbooks Are the Future
It's been almost two decades since online sportsbooks have been around, yet many people refuse to accept that these are better than the alternatives, and if things continue moving in the same direction they will soon be forced to try online sportsbooks or give up sports betting for good.
Right now a vast amount of brick-and-mortar venues are being forced to shut down due to lack of revenue, and even when large, well-positioned companies will not be endangered any time soon, these are located pretty close to each other, meaning that most people will be left with very few options to gamble.
The problem doesn't lie in the fact of being a legal or illegal establishment, but on the fact that fewer providers will remain €offline€ as they are competing with each other for the same customers; this will lead to providers disappearing as their business model is no longer profitable and, because there are less providers, they would have an edge and start taking advantage of gamblers - as a result gamblers would need to find a different way to bet, which would be online.
Now, that doesn't mean that online sportsbooks are not worthy of business as they are right now. It's true that there have been situations in the past that has made many people avoid online sportsbooks, not to mention that certain jurisdictions have forbidden its residents from engaging in online gambling activities (offline are ok though) - because that's obviously to protect their freedom and help them - yet, online sportsbooks these days are much more trustworthy and any issues the government has with that, they can suck it, besides, there's ways to avoid detection. I'm not saying you should, as I would be inciting you, but if you are so very interested and I can't dissuade you from engaging in such activities, I just casually happen to know and mention that it's possible to avoid detection from prying eyes.
Because online sportsbooks operate in other jurisdictions where they aren't being completely controlled and manipulated by Big Brother and these are capable of offering much better deals since they operate under reduced costs compared to brick-and-mortar venues, these will be an escape for the true gambler looking to bet without being conditioned by political influences.
Well, things are starting to get a little bit weird as I write this, and choppers are closing in; I guess, good luck and keep on gambling!
